An Overview of Core Stability Concepts Details
How Foam Rollers Can Assist Personal
Training and Therapy Clients

Core stability and core movement made their debut as key concepts of the training method devised my Joseph Pilates, who, as most physical therapists know, developed a series of movements to develop the human body. Core means the central or inner part, the essence or most important part of a matter. Stability means the capacity of an object to return to equilibrium or to its original position after being displaced. This article provides a brief introduction to the principles of core stability, with an emphasis on using foam rollers to facilitate these concepts in personal training and therapy programs.
